"come look at this"

So in the hotel we have quite a bit of room but Ethne is sleeping in a roll away port a crib bed since we only have two bedrooms. Every night we put her to bed in our room and every night we roll her out into the hallway and partially close the door so that she doesn't keep us up and so that we don't wake her up getting ready for bed etc... The second night here we woke up at 1:30am to this "Mom, dad, come look at dis" repeated by a wide awake 2 year old in the hallway. Garrett responded to the call and she said "look, Ders a light above my bed".

She woke up and noticed the smoke alarm light above her bed and she was anxious for us not to miss it. Funny girl. She ended up not falling back asleep so I had to get up and feed her a piece of bread so she could fill her tummy and sleep again.

Love that girl!
