The other day Iwalked into the kitchen and Enoch had taken my butternut squash and drawn eyes on it and a mouth. He said it was Jimmy-the gourd from Veggie Tales. The next few days the kids talked with Jimmy and Enoch wanted to sleep with him which of course I didn't alow.
Today I was in the kitchen chopping up the squash to make lunch for Ethne. Ezra came in and said:
Ezra: "Mom, what are you doing?"
ME: Making baby food.
Ezra: "Are you making baby FOOD out of JIMMY?"
ME: Yes!
Ezra: "Oh poor Jimmy. I feel sorry for Jimmy having to be baby food."
ME: Oh, do you think he will mind?
Ezra: "No!"
Enoch comes in and says:
"Hey is that Cheese?"
ME: Why don't you take a bite and find out?
Enoch: Eats a bite and smiles "That is Jimmy. Are you going to eat Jimmy?"
ME: I am making babyfood.
Enoch: "Is Esne [Ethne] going to eat Jimmy?"
ME: Yes!
Enoch: "Oh, well he won't be able to be in the shows any more."
