Aren't They Precious?
Today Enoch and Ezra are outside playing and Ezra says to Enoch "Aw! Enoch aren't they precious?" The funny thing is they were talking about the bugs they had caught. A combination of lady bugs, beetles, and flys. Doesn't that sound precious to you? That cracks me up!

The Fry Family preparing to move to New Zealand-in 4 minutes and 21 seconds
Mom packs things in boxes. Ethne takes things out of boxes when mom isn't looking. Mom finds things that were in box and returns them to said box trying to tape it up before Ethne reaches, grabs, crumples, and ruins said tape. We are going through a LOT of tape.
Mom gets rid of things in Goodwill boxes. Enoch and Ezra go hunting in the garage and find things they want in Goodwill boxes. They remove things wanted and hide them in their closet. They forget toys were supposed to be hidden-remove toys and make messes. Mom finds messes and asks "where did you guys get all these TOYS??" ARG! Mom turns into pirate. Packs up boxes again and scolds Enoch and Ezra. Enoch and Ezra talk back and say they don't like mom.
mom and dad stay up late every night cleaning and packing. They get woken up once or twice by Ethne who sometimes doesn't know that it is NOT time to get up and play. Then Ezra wakes up needing to go to the bathroom except for some reason this is associated with either a kiss for mom or a nightmare. He taps mom and wakes her up to say one of two things- 1. Mom, I had a bad dream. OR 2. Mom, I just wanted to say I love you! mom, says either of two things: 1. I am sorry what was it about? OR 2. Thanks Ezra. Goodnight! Ezra responds with either 1. I'm not going to tell you. OR 2. OK, Goodnight! Garrett rolls over when Ezra is gone and says. You need to tell him to stop waking you up-grumble grumble! 6am comes too soon and mom and dad are up to do P90X-sigh.
Mom and dad make $600 at their garage sale and donate 15 boxes of stuff to the DI truck that is in town. Stage one for moving complete.
Mom cleans house so it can be shown to prospective renters--Enoch, Ezra and Ethne mess up each room that has been cleaned as soon as mom moves on to another room.
Mom barely survives a 3 ring circus taking kids to an hour long Dr. apt. for her, 1 apt. for each of them. Plus Ezra's labs, her labs, and immunizations. Kids feel like they barely survived as well.
Dad comes home from work and says he just read the visa paperwork and all those apt. were for not. I will have to do it all over again including new labs.
Mom has her first melt down, raises her voice and it all ends in her saying "If you had read the paper work 2 days ago when I asked this wouldn't have happened. I am not taking the kids to do all that again-YOU can do it!"
Mom repents and does it all over again-except a few things that didn't have to be done over. THIS time she was SAVED by her friend Cicily who watched the kids for her 2hour long apt. where she had the second set of blood drawn, another physical, breast exam, urine sample, stool sample, chest X-ray and eye exam! ARG! mom turns into a pirate again :)
Garrett goes to work everyday and thinks about how he doesn't want to be there and random thoughts go threw his head such as-oh shoot I forgot to take in Enoch's urine sample and Ethne still needs that hearing test or Ashley's syphilis test wasn't ordered by the Dr. I wonder if she will have to go back and get blood drawn a THIRD time for this visa application--
Kids all start having diarrhea and Ethne throws up for a few days. For the next 12 days Ethne wants only to be held by mom when she is not sleeping. Ezra has several underwear accidents and Ethne's diapers overflow. Mom is calm-no more melt downs. She does however forget to call the violin teacher to tell them she won't be there that day AND the babysitter who is supposed to babysit while she takes Enoch to violin.
Mom writes letters to loved ones enclosing pictures for great grandparents and great Aunties and Uncles so they can miss us properly. Boys rest. Ethne gets the lid off the paint and paints her clothes and part of the living room carpet :( Sob!
Mom finds out Ezra hasn't actually been resting he got into her makeup, her jewelry, her hair things and nail things. Has broken and ruined several things and made a huge mess of her bedroom :( Sob again.
Ezra gets a wooden skewer out of the kitchen drawer and makes holes in the living room screen.
the next day mom finds out that the $500 mirror closet door in Ethne's room is broken-she nearly cries then just sighs and says-well there goes our deposit. Screens and doors. We have only been here 3 months.
Stage two ALMOST complete.
