We are so excited to announce the birth of
Ethne Elizabeth Fry. She came into this world on Friday July 10
th at 5:50pm. She weighed in at a whopping 9lbs 7oz and was a little over 21inches long. She is beautiful with blond hair and light/bright blue eyes that we are hoping will stay. She has very long arms, legs, fingers and toes and reminds us a lot of my sister April's 2 week baby pictures. Her personality is strong along with her will. Her daddy says "she is a girl who knows what she wants" The PMed. on call at the hospital said "well you know you'll never have to worry that she will let anyone walk all over her". He only met with her for 10 min. and that was his assessment. She has a strong cry and is very sensitive about getting what she wants when she wants it. She also has a VERY sweet side of her personality that loves to snuggle and recognizes when her daddy has her. From the moment she was born and heard her daddy's voice she was calmed by him. She looked for him and couldn't keep her attention away from the sound and direction of his voice. She is very clearly a daddy's girl. Here are some of her first moments:

Here she is right after the C-section. She wasn't very happy until she heard Garrett's voice and then she calmed down.

As you can she she was super swollen and her poor nose was squished flat.

This
pict is for Dr. Uncle Aaron :)

Her first look at mommy!

Her first shampoo. You can't tell in the pictures, but she has quite a lot of blond hair (not quite a lot like if she were a
Mexican baby
unfortunately, but quite a lot for a little white baby).

Sleeping--
Ahhh. Now if only the Dr. would leave us all alone we could all get some rest.

This is the
beginning of the real
Ethne. She isn't so swollen here and she is awake and showing her beautiful eyes. I need to get a
pict up of the back of her head where all the hair is.

Here is a half smile. She smiles ALL the time. She smiles a lot when Garrett and I talk to her. Funny that they say it is too early for that because she was born smiling at her daddy's voice.

A
pict of those super long toes and feet.

Our beautiful baby
Ethne. She is such a doll. Wish you were all here in person and could meet her sweetness. She is a very special baby for sure.

I wish you could see the brightness in her blue eyes here but it doesn't really come close.

Here I think she was asking "what happened to lunch?" Hope you enjoyed these. I will try to post her birth story and more info. and
picts soon. Love to you all, The Fry Family
