Retelling of "The Pirate Cruncher"-by Ezra Garrett Fry

One big monster with curly things and white eyeballs was writing a letter to a group of pirates. It said "do you want to be rich? Do you want to have it all? Do you want all the treasure? Do you want to be rich forever? --From a friend of yours"
The pirates were all dreaming of what it would look like before they even saw the beast. And they were sailing across the sea and they found the beast pretending to be an island (they thought he was an island at first). He had a palm tree on his head and they got on him with treasure and then he popped up and tried to eat them. And that is the end of the story.
