What Do Bunnies have to do with Easter??

So, we must be doing at least something right in our parenting because a few days ago while in the grocery store the kids were bombarded with chocolate bunnies and chocolate eggs and all manner of confections and Enoch says "mom, what do bunnies and eggs and chocolate have to do with Easter??". Lol, I said NOTHING! And quickly moved on before they could start asking for things ;) I am SO glad that my kids celebrate and KNOW that Easter is about Our Savior and His resurrection and the possibility of our returning to live with Him again one day And NOT about baskets and candy and chocolate bunnies. We do have Easter Egg hunts and we do have baskets and an Easter Bunny just for fun. But we spend SO much more time on the true meaning of Easter and apparently it hasn't been in vain. Thank you Father for being in the hearts of my children.
